Job Description:

Join an exciting PreOp team at a busy Level I Trauma Center in Washington, D.C., where you'll assist in preparing patients for a wide range of surgeries including cardiac, plastics, ENT, vascular, and more. This role involves completing thorough preoperative assessments, establishing IV access, educating patients, and collaborating closely with anesthesia and surgical staff. You'll also support regional anesthesia procedures like nerve blocks and moderate sedation, ensuring high-quality care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. The unit’s setting offers the chance to work with diverse patient populations and handle complex cases, making this a perfect fit for experienced PreOp RNs seeking a dynamic contract opportunity that keeps skills sharp and patient safety top priority.
