Job Description:

Join a dedicated medical-surgical unit in Peoria, Illinois, for a 12-hour night RN assignment that offers a chance to work with a variety of medical conditions in private and semi-private rooms. This role involves managing patient care for gen med patients, titrating medications like Heparin, and coordinating with a 24/7 charge nurse and house supervisor. You will work with a small team of patient care techs and assist with oxygen therapy and telemetry monitoring. The overnight shifts provide an excellent opportunity to experience a stable yet bustling hospital environment, with an emphasis on autonomous practice and collaboration with seasoned staff. Expect to handle patient assignments fluently, troubleshoot telemetry equipment, and follow unit protocols—all while enjoying the unique rhythm of night work in a well-equipped facility.
