Job Description:

Join a vibrant hospital setting in Hilo, Hawaii, where you'll provide skilled nursing care in a 15-bed Progressive Care Unit that features a mix of step-down ICU and telemetry. This contract offers you the chance to work on a varied schedule with shift rotations that keep your days interesting, where you'll be responsible for primary nursing duties, telemetry monitoring, strip readings, and fingerstick blood sugar tests. The role includes floating to other acute units such as Medical, Surgical/Peds, ICU, and the ER, giving you a broad spectrum of hospital experience. Your expertise in telemetry and acute care, along with certifications like PALS and NIHSS, will help ensure smooth navigation across different departments—plus, you’ll be sporting scrubs daily in this dynamic hospital landscape.
