Job Description:

This PCU Registered Nurse position offers a chance to work with a diverse patient population, including adolescents to geriatrics, in a setting where every shift is a new puzzle to solve. You'll be coordinating complex care for mixed patients, managing titrating cardiac drips, and working within a team that appreciates a high staffing ratio of 1:4-5. The role involves alternating between Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and Intermediate patients, providing a well-rounded experience without block scheduling. Expect to handle neuro, respiratory, and cardiac cases, often using Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems. You'll wear navy blue scrubs and join a team that values flexibility, including floating within your scope of practice. The assignment emphasizes quick adaptation, with assignments potentially shifting between all PCU, all MS/Tele, or a mix, depending on patient needs and staffing.
