Job Description:

This operating room circulating nurse contract offers an engaging opportunity to be part of a Level IV trauma center, working in a 60-bed short-term acute care facility. The role involves floating between units as needed, providing support in the OR environment, and possibly scrubbing in when necessary. Your responsibilities will include assisting with surgical procedures, maintaining sterile environments, and adapting quickly to different surgical teams. The position is shaped by a schedule of four 10-hour daytime shifts, with on-call requirements including one weekend every 5-6 weeks and one night shift per week. This unique assignment also requires a reliable vehicle, as floating to various sites around the area is part of the role, with potential incentives at specific locations.
