Job Description:

This Medical Surgical Registered Nurse contract offers a rewarding opportunity to work in a bustling hospital setting focusing on adult and geriatric patient care. You'll be primarily responsible for managing general med/surg patients, including those receiving insulin and heparin drips, with occasional respiratory support such as high flow oxygen or BiPAP. Expect to join an Inclement Weather Team, providing essential support during storms or disasters. The role features 12-hour night shifts, often accommodating 36 hours per week, with a possibility for 48 hours. This is a fast-paced environment that values flexibility, as float requirements may lead you to similar units or alternate care locations. You'll have the chance to work in a unit that occasionally cares for COVID-19 patients, making this a meaningful and impactful assignment.
