Job Description:

Join a dedicated team on a 32-bed flex unit specializing in oncology patients requiring surgical intervention and benign surgical cases. As a registered nurse on this travel contract, you'll be responsible for providing specialized perioperative nursing care, including reading and interpreting strips, and supporting patients through complex surgical journeys. This role involves 12-hour day shifts with every other weekend off, offering a rewarding balance between professional development and personal time. The unique aspect of this assignment is the opportunity to work with a diverse surgical population, including ear, nose, throat, colorectal, OB/GYN, urology, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and thoracic patients, excluding brain and lung surgeries. Float to areas of equal or less intensity when needed, in a setting that encourages autonomy within a supportive team environment.
