Job Description:

Join a bustling ER team in a community hospital located near the scenic coast of Georgia. This contract role involves working 12-hour night shifts in an emergency department that handles approximately 90 patients daily, with peaks up to 140 during busy seasons. As an ER nurse here, you'll manage a diverse range of cases—from abdominal pain and back pain to trauma, strokes, and psychiatric emergencies—stabilizing patients before they are transferred to higher-level care. The environment is fast-paced and requires proficiency with IVs and drips, as well as experience in smaller hospital settings similar to community hospitals. You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside both physicians and mid-level providers, with some triage duties allowed for experienced travelers. The hospital emphasizes excellent customer service and patient satisfaction, with a focus on safety and efficient care.
