Job Description:

Join a specialized medical-surgical unit dedicated to at-risk patients in a secure environment. This 24-bed integrated medicine unit features advanced safety measures such as video monitoring, ligature alarms, anti-barricade doors, and a badge-secured entrance—making safety a top priority. As a travel RN, you'll be responsible for managing complex patient needs, performing skilled nursing tasks, and collaborating with a committed team. The role offers a unique chance to experience a high-security setting with the option to work every other weekend and floating to different units as needed. Expect to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced, active environment that emphasizes vigilance and professionalism. First-time travelers are welcome to apply, and prior trauma experience is a plus. This assignment challenges you to stay physically active—ambulating, reaching, and moving objects over 20 lbs—while engaging with patients who may have contagious illnesses.
