Job Description:

This nursing position offers an engaging opportunity to work on a dedicated medical-surgical unit specializing in neurological and spinal disorders. You'll be responsible for managing care for patients with conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, and post-operative neuro-spinal surgery cases. The shift is a 12-hour night schedule, requiring every other weekend work, with the potential to float to other Med/Surg, ICU, and ED units. This role involves utilizing electronic health records like EPIC and Pyxis for medication and equipment management. The unit includes a neuro-monitoring segment, with a facility for complex neurological assessments. It's an ideal setting for a nurse with 1-2 years of Med/Surg experience seeking a varied and rewarding environment with specialized patient populations. Expect a fast-paced but fulfilling role where your skills directly impact patient recovery and neurological health.
