Job Description:

This contract position involves caring for post-surgical patients who have undergone colorectal and urologic procedures. The role requires close collaboration with Wound Ostomy and Continence Nurses to manage ostomy and wound care needs. You will work with post-operative patients with TPN, NG tubes, and central lines, ensuring they receive appropriate care during recovery. The assignment offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in a busy academic hospital environment, focusing on complex surgical cases and advanced wound management. Attention to detail and proficiency with Epic electronic medical records are essential, along with adherence to dress code, including navy blue scrubs.
