Job Description:

Join a reputable Level II Trauma Center in Bangor, Maine, as a registered nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This contract offers the opportunity to work 12-hour night shifts, providing hands-on care for a diverse patient population including neuro, cardiac, and medical/surgical cases. You'll be responsible for managing patients with stroke, post-craniotomy, respiratory failure, cardiac arrhythmias, and more. The role requires quick thinking and a calm demeanor, especially when performing neuro checks or managing ventilated patients with trachs. Your expertise will keep things running smoothly during overnight hours, contributing to critical patient stabilization and recovery.
