Job Description:

Join a vibrant Level III trauma center as a PACU Registered Nurse, where you'll be stepping into the fast-paced world of post-anesthesia care. This contract involves 12-hour night shifts on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, offering an excellent opportunity to experience the quieter, more reflective nighttime shift while providing critical care to patients recovering from surgery, trauma, or other complex procedures. You'll work within a dedicated team managing patients with multiple co-morbidities, sometimes in specialized cardiovascular, brain, or spine cases, and have the chance to sharpen your skills in a hospital environment that values expertise and attention to detail. The role includes charting in EPIC and requires at least two years of relevant experience, with certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS. First-time travelers are welcome as long as the experience criteria are met, and weekend coverage is required based on unit needs. This assignment offers a unique look behind the scenes of a Level III trauma center that manages multiple complex cases, providing both challenge and fulfillment.
