Job Description:

Join our team as a critical care nurse on a travel contract at a hospital in Asheville. You'll work 12-hour night shifts on a 10-bed ICU/PCU overflow unit, handling complex cases involving ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and bedside procedures such as intubations and chest tube insertions. This role offers an engaging environment where your advanced critical care skills will be essential, and you'll experience the unique rhythm of night shift teamwork with no on-call requirements. Expect to work every other weekend and support holidays, providing vital care during the quiet and active hours of the night. The hospital employs modern technology, including Cerner documentation and advanced equipment like ventilators, TTM, and IV pumps, ensuring you have the tools you need to succeed.
