Job Description:

Join the critical care team at a prominent hospital in Asheville, NC, working in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) on 12-hour night shifts. This position offers an engaging opportunity to utilize advanced cardiac skills, including titration of vesicant medications, management of pressors, sedation, paralytics, and ventilator support. You'll be working exclusively with RNs in a 16-bed unit equipped with ventilators, telemetry, Baxter IV pumps, and other sophisticated equipment. Expect to interpret hemodynamics, set up PA catheters, and perform procedures like cardioversion and chest tube insertion, all within a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. This assignment is tailored for experienced CICU professionals eager to contribute their expertise in a setting that values autonomy and technical proficiency.
