Job Description:

Join a specialized short-term assignment on a 64-bed IMCU unit with 15 dedicated neuro beds. This role focuses on adult patients with neuro, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory diagnoses, including COPD, DKA, sepsis, MI, and post-op care. You’ll navigate advanced equipment such as temp pacers, chest tubes, A lines, and Bipap machines, with respiratory therapists available to assist patients with chronic ventilator needs. The shift runs from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., requiring floating to other units as needed. Expect an engaging environment where your expertise in IMCU patient management will be key, all while enjoying the unique experience of working in a unit that handles complex, high-acuity cases.
