Job Description:

Join a prestigious Level I trauma center in Springfield as a perfusionist, where you'll be part of a skilled team supporting critical surgical procedures. This 13-week contract offers weekday daytime shifts of 8 hours, providing an excellent opportunity to showcase your expertise with a minimum of four years' experience. Expect to rotate weekend call approximately every fifth weekend and be prepared for holiday coverage. State licensure and BLS certification are required, and on-call duties are as needed. The hospital's setting combines the fast-paced environment of an acute care hospital with the stability of an established magnet facility—your skills will make a vital difference in life-saving surgeries. Comfortable with a flexible schedule, you can discuss block scheduling options with your manager. Parking is provided at no cost during orientation, and your scrub color will be supplied. Expect to earn a gross weekly pay of approximately $5,932.80 for roughly 40 hours weekly of technical support during high-stakes procedures.
