Job Description:

Join our team in the bustling emergency department of a top-tier hospital in Asheville. This role involves working within a 101-bed unit, where you'll be part of a fast-paced environment handling medical and behavioral patients under typical 4:1 nurse-to-patient ratios, which can increase to 7:1 during behavioral holds. Your responsibilities will include triage, monitoring with GE equipment, and utilizing Cerner for documentation. This assignment offers a chance to showcase your ER expertise, especially in a Level 2 trauma and comprehensive stroke center with high patient volume. You’ll work every other 12-hour day shift, providing an opportunity to immerse yourself in a team known for their camaraderie and multicultural engagement, all while contributing to a community that speaks over 120 languages.
