Job Description:

This travel assignment places you as an RN on a busy OB unit in Waimea, Hawaii, with a focus on antepartum, labor and delivery, postpartum, and nursery care. You'll work with advanced equipment like fetal monitoring systems, phototherapy beds, and neonatal warmers, providing comprehensive care for high-risk and routine obstetric and neonatal patients. Expect to assist with procedures such as epidurals, fetal heart rate monitoring, and newborn resuscitations, all while maintaining the stability and safety of both mother and baby. The role combines hands-on patient care with a touch of island adventure, offering a unique opportunity to experience Hawaii’s beauty while doing meaningful work in a supportive team environment. The shift preference is nights, requiring a commitment of 36 hours per week over a 13-week duration, with a consistent start time at 7:00 AM. Being adaptable to float to other departments as needed and swiftly responding to emergent situations are essential for success here.
