Job Description:

Join us for a rewarding travel assignment working in a specialized Geriatric Psychiatry unit at Mission Hospital in Asheville. This role involves providing compassionate care to elderly patients with psychiatric needs within a 9-bed unit. You will work a 12-hour day shift schedule, engaging in tasks such as vital signs assessments, rapid response readiness, managing IVs, and operating essential equipment like glucometers and bed alarms. Your expertise in behavioral health and medical experience will be vital in supporting patient stability and safety. Expect a team-oriented environment that appreciates your assessment skills, critical thinking, and ability to de-escalate when needed.
