Job Description:

Join a reputable hospital as a Telemetry Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular Unit, where you'll be the guardian of cardiac health during the overnight shifts. This role offers a chance to work in a dedicated 54-bed cardiac unit, primarily monitoring patients on cardiac monitors and administering cardiac drips. You'll experience a blend of remote telemetry supervision and hands-on patient care in a lively environment that keeps your skills sharp. The shift runs four nights a week, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, perfect for those who thrive during nocturnal hours. With a focus on patients recovering from heart attacks, heart failure, strokes requiring cardiac monitoring, and arrhythmias, this assignment promises engaging work with a specialized team. Expect ratios typically between 1:5-6, with some flexibility during call-ins, and an active effort to balance workloads with new staff additions. This position may include occasional overflow medical patients, offering a diverse clinical experience. Your expertise with ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications will be valued in this fast-paced, rewarding environment where no two shifts are exactly the same.
