Job Description:

This travel assignment offers a hands-on opportunity in a labor and delivery unit that’s as busy as it is rewarding. You’ll be responsible for caring for women through antepartum, labor, delivery, and postpartum phases, including supporting newborns immediately after birth. From assisting with vaginal and cesarean deliveries to providing newborn resuscitation using NRP protocols, your role will be central to the safe and smooth process of childbirth. The setting features computerized charting, electronic fetal monitoring, and advanced medication systems—making your work both efficient and impactful. This position is perfect for an RN with at least two years of experience in labor and delivery, postpartum, and neonatal nursery care, who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys utilizing specialized skills like IV access, medication administration, and neonatal stabilization. Expect to work 12-hour night shifts, with self-scheduling that involves working alongside a team, including two weekends per month and some holiday shifts. No call duties are required at this time, but the schedule remains flexible to meet departmental needs. This unique role allows you to experience a vibrant delivery unit with a supportive team while making meaningful contributions to new families’ beginnings.
