Job Description:

This position is for a skilled healthcare professional ready to step into a 34-bed stepdown/PCU unit during a 13-week contract. You will be working 12-hour day shifts, providing vital support in a setting that calls for attention to detail and swift decision-making. The role involves managing patient transitions with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5, utilizing Meditech EMR to document and coordinate care. Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications are required, along with a KY or compact license and a COVID vaccine or approved exemption. An orientation held bi-weekly ensures you’re well-prepared to succeed in this environment that values your expertise and readiness to adapt. With a schedule of 36 hours per week, this assignment offers a vibrant opportunity to apply your skills in a busy yet rewarding setting.
