Job Description:

Join our team for a travel healthcare contract on the telemetry/med surg unit in Fort Madison, Iowa. This role involves delivering care to adult, geriatric, and medical/surgical patients, with a focus on telemetry monitoring. You’ll be responsible for self-studying telemetry strips upon acceptance—an initial test will be given during the first week, and passing it is essential to continue working on this unit. The shifts are 12-hour nights, offering a chance to immerse yourself in a focused and specialized environment. Your duties include assessing patients, planning and implementing care, and collaborating professionally with team members to ensure high-quality patient monitoring and care. ACLS certification is required for this assignment, reflecting the advanced skills needed in this role. This assignment provides an engaging opportunity to hone your telemetry expertise in a supportive setting that values your technical proficiency and patient safety.
