Job Description:

Join a dedicated team in a Level II Trauma Center as a Registered Nurse in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting. In this contract role, you'll be managing a variety of patients with mixed acuity, including intermediate, telemetry, and MedSurg cases. Your responsibilities will include interpreting cardiac rhythms, managing chest tubes, trach care (excluding fresh trachs), and administering advanced medications through drip titration such as Heparin and Insulin. You'll experience a fast-paced environment that encourages skill development in neuro, ortho, and surgical patient care—making every day both engaging and educational. The unit is supported by a competent team and offers orientation to ensure your smooth transition into the role.
