Job Description:

Join IU Health as a registered nurse on a captivating PCU assignment in Indianapolis, Indiana. This 13-week contract offers 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a weekly commitment of 36 hours. You'll be working on a 32-bed cardio-pulmonary unit focused on pulmonary conditions such as COPD, lung transplants, and pulmonary fibrosis. The role involves floating to different levels of care—including Med-Surg and ICU—and occasionally providing charge nurse coverage and precepting students. This position offers the chance to deepen your expertise in a teaching hospital environment while experiencing a variety of complex cases, from cardiac surgeries to neurodegenerative diseases requiring ventilator management. Travelers will benefit from an additional charge pay bump of $3.00 per hour, and the assignment emphasizes teamwork, adaptability, and clinical skill in a fast-paced setting.
