Job Description:

Step into the vital role of a CVICU RN in a 10-bed unit dedicated to cardiovascular intensive care. This position demands recent open heart recovery experience, as you will manage higher acuity patients undergoing complex cardiac procedures. Your focus will be on providing advanced nursing care, operating sophisticated medical equipment such as A-lines, chest tubes, and ventilators, all while supporting patients through critical moments. The environment offers a unique opportunity to hone your skills in a specialized cardiac setting, with responsibilities spanning from admission to discharge and contributing to the cardiac expansion efforts of the hospital. A keen assessment of deteriorating conditions and acting as a clinical leader for precepting staff will be key features of this assignment.
