Job Description:

Join a reputable acute care hospital in St. Louis as a Step Down Registered Nurse. This contract offers a unique opportunity to work on a dedicated step down unit where you'll manage patients requiring close monitoring and advanced interventions. Expect to handle ventilator management, titration of pressors, insulin drips, and other complex treatments. Shifts are 12 hours during the day with a schedule of 36 hours weekly, every other weekend. Your bedside experience within the last six months is essential, and you'll be part of a team that values technical proficiency and responsiveness in fast-paced patient scenarios. Certifications in ACLS, BCLS, and NIH are required to ensure you're equipped for critical care situations. Floating within scope to lower acuity floors may be necessary, but you'll have the chance to work in a collaborative environment emphasizing skill advancement and professional growth.
