Job Description:

This OR nursing contract offers the opportunity to work in a bustling surgical environment with a focus on orthopedic, gynecologic, urologic, and pediatric procedures. The role involves assisting with a variety of surgeries, including joint replacements, sports medicine, Cesarean sections, and robotic-assisted procedures using the DaVinci Xi system. The unit features a new Hybrid OR suite, supporting a broad scope of complex cases, and requires a nurse who is comfortable managing multiple specialties in a fast-paced setting. Expect to be actively involved in conscious sedation, monitor anesthesia administration, assist with intubations, and perform physical assessments—all while contributing to a team dedicated to efficient surgical care and patient safety. Equipment includes EPIC EMR and OMNICELL medication systems, with a typical caseload of about 30 procedures daily. This contract invites experienced OR nurses to step into an engaging and diverse role where each day brings new surgical challenges and learning opportunities.
