Job Description:

This respiratory therapist role is based in the inpatient units of a hospital in Cheyenne, Wyoming, primarily covering ICU and potential high-risk delivery areas. You will handle a variety of duties, including drawing ABGs with EPOC, performing EKGs, assisting with intubations, and managing ventilated patients on equipment like Puritan Bennet 980, Phillips CPAP and BiPAP, and V60s with HFT options. The schedule consists of 12-hour day shifts, and you'll work a 36-hour week over approximately 13 weeks. You may be scheduled to move between floors and assist with transports, requiring flexibility and good navigation within the hospital. This assignment offers a hands-on experience assisting with bronchs, ventilator management, and supporting patient stabilization, all within a friendly and welcoming team environment that emphasizes timely reporting and hand hygiene.
