Job Description:

Join our team as a Sterile Processing Technician at Maine Medical Center, located at 1 Medical Drive, Biddeford. This role involves preparing and sterilizing surgical instruments and equipment in the SPD department, with a focus on orthopedic trays. The technician will work evening shifts from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM, rotating weekends with a call requirement every 6-8 weeks from 3 PM to 7 AM. You’ll experience a busy environment that keeps you on your toes, especially when handling specialized equipment such as the Davinci robot and Mako robot. This assignment is perfect for someone with at least three years of experience who is comfortable working with standard sterilization equipment and Epic EMR system, and who has an eye for detail and adherence to safety protocols. The role offers 40 hours weekly for a period of 13 weeks, making it a great opportunity to deepen your expertise in sterile processing in a vibrant Maine setting.
