Job Description:

Join our team as a travel RN in the Cardiac Telemetry/Step Down unit at a respected hospital in Wausau, Wisconsin. This role involves caring for patients recovering from cardiac events such as CABG, valve surgeries, and arrhythmias in a fast-paced 44-bed unit. You'll work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, providing care during high acuity situations while coordinating with a skilled team. The assignment offers an engaging blend of technical skills and resilience, where managing change and working independently are key. Expect to float across inpatient units as needed and contribute to a high-energy environment focused on cardiac recovery. The contract lasts for 13 weeks, with guaranteed hours and opportunities for low census unbillable time during low patient volume periods.
