Job Description:

Join us as a Histotechnologist in Janesville, WI, where you'll be vital to the diagnostic process by preparing histologic slides and tissue sections for microscopic examination. You'll work at Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center, handling everything from tissue processing to special staining techniques, including MOHs and grossing procedures. This role involves operating automated tissue processors, microtomes, and staining equipment, ensuring high-quality specimens for Pathologist review. An engaging aspect of this position is the opportunity to work alternate shifts, including weekends and holidays, to keep the lab running smoothly. Whether you're preparing slides in the lab or maintaining records, your skills directly support accurate diagnoses and patient outcomes in a fast-paced, professional environment.
