Job Description:

This travel nursing assignment places you at Phoebe Putney Hospital in Albany, GA, working on a labor pool unit with 12-hour day shifts. As a nurse here, you'll be responsible for a variety of patient care duties across multiple units, including Med/Surg, Orthopedics, Neuro, Oncology, and Acute Care, with float coverage as needed. Expect to care for patients with diverse diagnoses, including cardiology, neurology, and post-operative care. The role involves following a rotating schedule, working 36 hours a week over 17 weeks, with on-call responsibilities during low census periods. You'll use Meditech EMR and wear a Caribbean Blue scrub, with a typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6. The hospital is equipped with advanced ventilator support like BIPAP and CPAP, and has in-house specialist coverage such as OB/Neonatology, as well as a 24/7 pharmacy and PICC line team.
