Job Description:

Join a specialized PCU unit in Winston-Salem as a Registered Nurse, where your expertise in arterial lines, vasoactive drips, and telemetry monitoring will be put to good use. This assignment resembles ICU-level care, with a focus on managing complex cases such as respiratory distress, unstable hemodynamics, and post-op recovery for a diverse patient population from adolescents to geriatrics. Night shifts are 12 hours long, and you'll work every other weekend, providing a rhythm that balances intense moments with adequate rest. As a travel nurse, you'll experience a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment where quick recognition and treatment of dysrhythmias and other critical indicators are essential. Unique to this role are the opportunities to work with advanced equipment like bedside telemetry monitors, chest tubes, trach management, and pressor drips, all on a unit where staying sharp and compliant with protocols is key.
