Job Description:

This ICU Registered Nurse contract offers a chance to work in a busy metropolitan facility where your skills will be essential in managing a high volume of critically ill patients. You'll be performing critical bedside tasks, including line starts, EKGs, lab sticks, and operating advanced equipment like Alaris IV pumps, Servo ventilators, and dialysis machines. The role involves floating across multiple ICU units and occasionally to the ED or PACU, providing a dynamic and varied experience. With a focus on devices like Impella and NxStage, this assignment keeps your skills sharp and your expertise in demand. Expect 3 day shifts of 12 hours each week, with a total commitment of 36 hours, offering a balanced work schedule amidst Mardi Gras festivities. This assignment is an excellent opportunity to apply your critical care experience in a fast-paced environment, without the worry of long-term commitments.
