Job Description:

This Operating Room Registered Nurse position offers an engaging opportunity to work within a busy surgical setting in Jefferson, North Carolina. The role involves preparing and supporting a variety of procedures, from general surgeries like appendectomies and hernia repairs to advanced interventions such as laparoscopic-assisted cases and gynecological surgeries. You’ll be the essential team member ensuring smooth operation flow, managing sterile techniques, and assisting surgeons during complex procedures. Expect to handle procedures that range from eye surgeries like cataract extraction to orthopedic interventions like ACL reconstructions. This assignment is particularly unique because you will experience a broad spectrum of surgeries while maintaining focus on patient safety and OR efficiency. The shift is a steady 8-hour daytime schedule, Monday through Friday, giving you predictable hours and plenty of time to enjoy your surroundings.
