Job Description:

Join a dedicated team on a 12-hour night shift at Brookwood Baptist Medical Center, located in Birmingham, Alabama. As an RN specializing in medical-surgical and post-operative care, you'll be providing essential support to patients recovering from surgery or managing complex medical conditions. This role offers a chance to work with a compassionate team in a 30-bed unit with a patient ratio of 6:1, where your ability to manage time efficiently and stay calm under pressure will be vital. You'll float depending on staffing needs, and your expertise in post-op and med/surg care will be appreciated in this fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will include administering medications, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure smooth recovery processes. This assignment is not only about skills but also about bringing a friendly, compassionate attitude and a sense of urgency to each shift. The position features a friendly dress code of navy scrubs and a schedule with every other weekend off, making it a balanced yet impactful opportunity.
