Job Description:

Join the team at San Juan Regional Medical Center in Farmington, New Mexico, for a contract RN position on the Surgical Inpatient Unit. You'll be working in a renowned Level III trauma center that handles a range of complex cases, including trauma level I, II, and III patients flown in from nearby states. Your role will involve caring for post-operative patients recovering from orthopedic, neuro, and abdominal surgeries, managing drains, and overseeing patients with respiratory issues, diabetic conditions, or sepsis. Expect a balanced mix of admissions and discharges, with a patient ratio of up to 1:6. The facility’s advanced EHR system and well-equipped units provide a smooth workflow, while your experience with post-op care will be vital to ensuring patient recovery.
