Job Description:

Join us as a seasoned RN specializing in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units for a 12-hour night shift assignment at a prominent teaching hospital in Macon, Georgia. This role offers you the chance to work in a fast-paced environment with approximately 20 to 36 beds per unit, managing patients with common diagnoses that include post-surgical recovery, chest pain, stroke, and various inpatient conditions. You will be responsible for procedures such as trach care, chest tube management, PIV starts, and administering various drips like insulin and Heparin, all while utilizing advanced technology including EPIC EMR and Phillips monitors. Skilled in patient safety, you'll assist with blood glucose monitoring, vital signs, and other bedside tasks. As a traveler, you'll enjoy the support of a unit dedicated to teamwork and efficiency, with the flexibility to float across multiple Med/Surg and Telemetry units as needed. This role requires at least two years of Med/Surg/Tele RN experience, BLS certification, and preferred ACLS certification.
