Job Description:

Join us as a Step Down Registered Nurse in Kansas City, MO, specializing in providing expert care to post-operative patients recovering from complex surgeries such as bariatric, urology, hepatobiliary, colorectal, and trauma cases. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, specialty-focused setting where you'll manage patients with multiple drains, wounds, and pain control devices including epidurals and PCA. Your day-to-day tasks will include interpreting dysrhythmias, managing IV lines, wound care, and collaborating with Rapid Response and Code teams. If you're comfortable floating within departments and thrive in a unit that handles high-acuity post-surgical cases, this assignment may be a perfect fit.
