Job Description:

This orthopedic and neuro spine medical-surgical RN contract offers a fast-paced environment where you'll be responsible for managing postoperative and acute care patients on a unit with a typical patient census of 37. Your day will include monitoring pain levels, managing IV starts, and utilizing telemetry technology. The role requires a quick, attentive nurse capable of adapting to unit needs, including floating to other med-surg units as required. With a 12-hour shift structure, you'll work 36 hours per week for an approximately 13-week assignment, providing a unique opportunity to hone your orthopedic and spine care skills in a busy hospital setting that values efficiency and patient stabilization.
