Job Description:

Join a dedicated inpatient mental health unit in Juneau, Alaska, as a registered nurse specializing in psychiatric care. In this role, you'll be assessing and managing medication plans, responding swiftly during crisis situations, and utilizing electronic charting systems like EMR - Meditech. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to work in a secure environment with 12 single rooms, where you’ll monitor patient progress and help create a calm, supportive atmosphere. Expect to be part of a team providing excellent mental health support, with shifts that include a mix of twelve-hour and six-hour days or nights.
