Job Description:
Join a radiology department to perform advanced ultrasound imaging across a variety of modalities, including vascular, abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, small parts, and pediatric scans. As an ultrasound technologist, you'll operate state-of-the-art GE, Philips, and Siemens equipment in a setting with three scanners and two imaging rooms. Your day will involve conducting roughly ten scans daily, covering a diverse range of studies such as carotids, renal Doppler, transabdominal and transvaginal ultrasounds, OB scans, and pediatric head and renal assessments. Work primarily during 10-hour night shifts from Monday through Thursday, with additional weekend call responsibilities, providing a consistent and manageable schedule. The role offers a two-week department-specific orientation in Colorado Springs, ensuring you're well-prepared to excel. This assignment provides a unique opportunity to collaborate with in-house radiologists and registered radiology assistants, all within a busy yet supportive environment where your expertise ensures high-quality imaging and patient throughput. Enthusiasts of ultrasound technology will find this role both challenging and rewarding, contributing significantly to diagnostic workflows and patient outcomes.
