Job Description:

Join our team as an Operating Room Technician in Springfield, IL, where you'll play a vital role in supporting a busy Level I trauma center. This contract position involves working five 8-hour day shifts, totaling 40 hours per week, with an emphasis on assisting in a variety of surgical procedures across multiple specialties. You'll handle instruments, maintain sterile environments, and support surgeons during complex surgeries such as neurosurgery, thoracic, gynecological, orthopedic, and plastic procedures. The role requires minimum three years of OR tech experience, BLS certification, and flexibility to float within scope of practice. Be prepared for weekend shifts once a month, and to assist as needed during on-call hours.
