Job Description:

Join our team in a focused ICU setting at TriStar StoneCrest in Smyrna, TN, where you'll be instrumental in managing ventilator and sedation protocols for a 16-bed unit. This role is perfect for a nurse with a positive attitude and a knack for teamwork, ready to handle complex procedures such as trach placements, bronchoscopy, and cardioversion. You'll work every other weekend, with a schedule of 12-hour days, and immerse yourself in a modern environment equipped with GE Monitors, Nova glucometers, Pyxis med dispensers, and Drager vents. Your expertise in medication titration, along with certifications in BLS and ACLS, will ensure optimal patient safety and care. Expect a role that combines technical skill with meaningful communication, including medication teaching and patient interaction via AIDET and communication boards. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with experienced staff, utilize advanced technology, and contribute to a high-functioning acute care team.
