Job Description:

This travel nursing opportunity places you on a 12-hour night shift in a 40-bed Progressive Care Unit in Kearney, Nebraska. As a registered nurse, you'll be responsible for managing adult patients with diverse diagnoses, including cardiac, renal, vascular, cancer, and post-procedure care. You'll handle critical tasks such as titrating drips like Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, and Insulin, while interpreting telemetry strips and troubleshooting equipment like vents and high-flow oxygen devices. The role involves working with a team of charge nurses, patient care techs, and telemetry technicians, all dedicated to providing exceptional patient experiences. The assignment emphasizes adaptability, teamwork, and effective communication in a culturally diverse setting, primarily serving Hispanic and Somali populations. This position offers a stimulating environment for those eager to expand their critical care skills and contribute meaningfully during night hours in a fast-paced medical-surgical setting.
