Job Description:

This cardiac surgical nurse role places you in the vibrant environment of a busy Cardiac Operating Room at Trident Medical Center. You will be instrumental in supporting complex procedures, including thoracic surgeries like AAA repairs, valve replacements, and CABG, as well as vascular surgeries involving bypasses and stents. Your day may include prepping patients, positioning, and facilitating advanced procedures using robotic systems such as the XI Robot and Mako joint robot. Expect a mix of scheduled surgeries and on-call shifts, working in a team-oriented setting that values your circulating expertise in handling high-acuity cardiac cases. The assignment offers a chance to work with some of the latest surgical technology and a dedicated staff known for their experience and cooperative spirit, all while experiencing the unique Charleston scene.
