Job Description:

Join a dedicated team of registered nurses at Aspirus Langlade Hospital in Antigo, Wisconsin, for a 13-week travel assignment focused on medical-surgical nursing. This role offers 12-hour night shifts, providing an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a hospital setting with a nurse-patient ratio typically around 4-6 patients per nurse, depending on the shift. You will deliver patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and assist with care plans, all while working within a 16-bed unit that can occasionally require floating to nearby facilities such as Merrill, Wausau, Medford, and Stanley. This assignment is perfect for experienced nurses comfortable interpreting telemetry data, with a preference for those familiar with Epic charting. Expect a schedule of 36 hours weekly, with some on-call responsibilities during low census periods that include call back pay. The role emphasizes clinical assessment skills in a supportive environment where teamwork and flexibility are valued.
