Job Description:

Join a 34-bed stepdown/PCU unit in Hazard, Kentucky, where you'll work 12-hour night shifts. This role is perfect for experienced healthcare professionals with over two years of recent stepdown or PCU experience. You will be responsible for managing a 1:5 patient ratio, utilizing Meditech EMR, and following protocols aligned with BLS, ACLS, and NIH guidelines. The setting offers a chance to focus on complex patient transitions in a supportive environment. The schedule operates on a 36/48-hour cycle over two weeks, and orientation sessions occur bi-weekly. To qualify, candidates must hold a Kentucky or compact license and have received the Covid vaccine or have an approved ARH exemption. This assignment provides an excellent opportunity to deepen your expertise while making a meaningful impact in the care of patients transitioning from intensive care to recovery.
